Life cruises along pretty quickly sometimes - and gets pretty busy! Here's a quick recap of our world lately...
Cutie pie James came for a play date. We haven't seen this little monkey in a while so Kahu was very excited to hang out with his little kiwi cuz. James was such a great mate - running around after 'Koko' and sharing all the toys. What a fab lil kid :-)
One of the little people Maddie turned 3 and her party was at Gymboree. Great idea for a kiddies party with plenty of action for the little people - soooo stealing that idea for the next birthday!
Gingerbread man - can there be a more fun sweeter treat? Probably not

Playing 'kitchens' with BFF Lola while Mama had a morning of spa treats courtesy of the lovely Lu. Bit special!
Trip to Perisher to play in the snow. Lots of fun getting there, heading up the mountain in the Ski-tube, hot chips for lunch. The bits that didn't work as well - trying to get the monkey onto his sled in the snow. Weather was a bit full-on, low viz, so not the best way to introduce the lil guy to sledding. Next time we will try for a day that's not got gale force winds!
Other highlights - renovations ALMOST complete - yay!!! New furniture installed including some cool blue bar stool (thx Matt Blatt), have worked out to use the manual controls on my flash SMEG oven - no pre-set options for me! Planning trips to QLD, Kahu skyping (pretty cute!).
Lowlights - trying to find Childcare for next year - yawn!
Oh boring childcare. Is it hard where you are? I only put my name down for one place but I think I got in. But it was more due to family connections as apparently it's crazy hard getting a childcare spot in Sydney.
