Hanging with my BFF

We've moved back into our little townhouse & the monkey & Titus are settling in perfectly.

During the moving weekend we did a fair amount of eating out or ordering in & the monkey discovered his new fave food Pizza! I think his eating habits are strictly aligning to fast food or junk food! Anyone with hot tips on getting a toddler to eat verges and fruit please let me know ASAP!

Back to the move where after 1 day an anonymous neighbour did leave a note to 'tame our dog' - whatever!!! Titus went for a mini-break to the lovely Morgans house to stay with his mat Baxter. I'm not sure what happened there but he's a new dog - I swear!!! Dog whisperers in that house - I just know it!

Miss Lola came to hang out with us yesterday - We walked to the park (an exercise in endurance with 2 2 year olds) past the train station.

Lots of excitement all round.

Life on the party lane

Feels like I have been baking, wrapping, prepping and sourcing party stuff all week - (around work of course!). It's my baby's 2nd birthday on Sunday so it's party time!

I was planning something a little more low key this year after the big 1st birthday soirée, but of course I have thrown myself into party planning mode with a vengeance.

Well he is my little prince!

My other baby Titus had the 'chop' this week & some surgery on his legs, poor puppy. The healing isn't go so well so he's now mister cone-head for a week.

At least it doesn't clash with his golden coat!

The monkey got a parcel in the post from his godparents - Xmas & birthday. He opened the Xmas pressie which had a couple of cool t-shirts & Quazi from Octonauts. It's now his fave soft toy and he is now a permanent fixture EVERYWHERE! Thanks G'ma and G'fa!

Awesome playdate with Gracie & Leah today while I went out to pick cabinetry for my new kitchen - yes please!! And home for Cars 2 DVD - perfect 'babysitter' for Kahu while mama did so more baking.

Back to reality

Back in Queano after 2 weeks in QLD. Luckily the weather has followed us (without the humidity) and it's HOT HOT HOT! We've been cranking up the A/C & hosing off in the backyard.

Our puppy Titus spent 2 weeks with our dog-trainer. He 'seems' to have picked up some good manners too :-) Hubby still busted him sprinkling the doormat inside tho - doh! Toilet training for the boy & the pup on top of the 'to do' list for 2013.

Came home to a lovely parcel from my BFF in Sweden - a gorgeous book for Kahu & a lovely bead necklace for moi, made with her own talented hands, Thx Bestie.

Back to the gym for me this am. Didn't pass out - bonus! After 2 weeks of indulgence & lazing about its time to get back on track, starting now, or tomorrow, ok Monday ;-)

Hubby & I are on a mission today - furniture shopping for the monkeys big boy bedroom. Not sure I'm emotionally ready to let my baby move from a cot to a bed so watch this space for developments.
